Ousmane Dembele’s representatives have “sent an email” to “several” Premier League clubs encouraging them to make an offer for the Barcelona winger, according to Cadena SER.

The Spanish radio station claim that the email comprised of a list of “reasons why” the player would be a “good signing” on a free transfer.

Dembele has been heavily linked with Chelsea but, while manager Thomas Tuchel is a known admirer of the 25-year-old, it seems clear that (currently) Leeds winger Raphinha is the priority.

Of course, with Barca also interested in the Brazilian, if Raphinha were to end up moving to Camp Nou, it may lead to Chelsea falling back on trying to secure Dembele’s services instead.

The France international’s contract expires on June 30th, and he will be a free agent as of July 1st. He does have a contract on the table from Barcelona but the wages on offer are not deemed acceptable, meaning Dembele’s departure looks certain.

In addition to Chelsea, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle have been mentioned as potential suitors in England, although none have so far stepped forward and made a decisive move.
