Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham scored after coming on as a substitute for England Under 21s but was unable to help as they slipped to a 4-2 defeat to Romania.
Four Blues players started the game yesterday evening with Mason Mount joining Jay Dasilva, Fikayo Tomori and Jake Clarke-Salter, who all started the first group match against France.
Abraham came on for Dasilva on 76 minutes, and with the score 2-1 to Romania, he controlled a cross from club teammate Mount and slotted the ball home to make it 2-2.
Unfortunately for him and England, a mistake by Manchester United keeper Dean Henderson meant it was quickly 3-2 to Romania, and while Abraham missed another chance, with a header hitting the bar, their opponents sealed the win with a long-range strike.
After two consecutive defeats, England will head home after their final group match against Croatia. Following his goal against Romania, Abraham will likely get a start on Monday night.
