Chelsea Still Active On The Transfer Market

After being named the team with the most players sent out on loan, Chelsea still insist on signing all the most promising players emerging from European football. According to Metro, Mourinho’s latest target is Andrej Kramaric who is currently valued at about £8m. Some say that the 23 year old will be the replacement for Drogba who is looking to become part of the club’s managerial staff. Currently with HNK Rijeka, Kramaric is already in advanced talks with the Blues who are discussing his future with his father and his agent. Both have made it to London and are planning out the Croatian’s future. The striker will even be able to face his current team when they open their new stadium as stipulated in the contract. Apparently, part of the deal would be to have Chelsea facing Rijeka in 2016 when they finish building their new stadium.

Scoring one goal per match this year was quite an accomplishment for Karmaric. In 26 matches he managed to find the net 27 times which is impressive regardless of the team he is currently performing for. Chelsea will have to battle Tottenham for the Croatian who, to be fair, would have a much bigger chance of being a team regular there than at Stamford Bridge. With just a day left until the beginning of the transfer window, negotiations seem to be working fine though. Chelsea have a lot to offer and can promise the player a lot of things which can only be provided by a club as powerful as the one sponsored by Abramovich.
