Chelsea Star ‘Says Yes’ To Serie A Move But Club Only See Him As Secondary Target

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has given his approval to a loan switch to AC Milan, according to TMW. The Italian website claims the German international “says yes” to the move going ahead before the transfer window shuts tomorrow night.

However, the centre-back is not the Rossoneri’s primary target with the Serie A side keeping him in the back pocket if they fail to sign Schalke centre-back Ozan Kabak.

Rudiger is reportedly keen on a return to Italy, after arriving at Chelsea from Roma three years ago, but Milan are not the only club believed to be interested in taking him on loan.

Tottenham are also said to be in the mix for the 27-year-old, although other reports suggest that they are still in talks to sign Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar and will look at Rudiger as a potential alternative.

It does appear as though the German isn’t anyone’s first choice currently but that could all change prior to tomorrow’s deadline.
