Chelsea Star Now A Major Doubt For Bournemouth Clash After Limping Out Of Warmdown

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is now a doubt for Saturday’s game against Bournemouth after limping out of a warm-down following last night’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, according to the Mirror.

The 22-year-old has been struggling with an ankle injury in recent weeks and was only used as a substitute by Frank Lampard yesterday due to the issue.

However, it appears Abraham has had a setback in his recovery with it being reported that he had to end his warm-down early and was seen hobbling down the tunnel at Stamford Bridge while his teammates continued with their exercises.

Olivier Giroud started the humbling loss to Bayern before Abraham replaced the Frenchman on the hour mark, and it seems the 33-year-old is highly likely to remain in the starting line up when the Blues travel to the Vitality Stadium to face the Cherries on Saturday afternoon. It remains to be seen how long Abraham’s latest setback will keep him out for.
