Chelsea Star ‘Living His Last Days’ At The Club And Is Looking At ‘Various Proposals’ To Secure Exit

Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez is poised to leave Stamford Bridge, according to Sport. The Barcelona based publication says the 32-year-old is “living his last days” with the Blues as he is no longer in manager Frank Lampard’s first-team plans.

The Spaniard is said to be analysing “various proposals” with several clubs including J League side Vissel Kobe and La Liga club Sevilla interested in snapping him up.

Pedro is, however, reluctant to leave Europe as he still feels he has a lot to offer at the top level so a move to the Far East is unlikely.

Lampard is also unwilling to let him go before the end of the season, with the Chelsea boss still seeing him as an important squad player.

Pedro’s contract does, however, expire in the summer so his departure in June is now almost a complete certainty. He has been a tremendous servant to the club, having scored 42 goals and provided 27 assists in 195 appearances since he joined from Barcelona four and a half years ago.
