Chelsea Star Could Return Much Sooner Than Expected Following Latest Injury Update

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is now only set to miss the next two weeks with a groin problem, according to the Sun. The American international was expected to be out for up to a month with the injury but the newspaper reports that his return date has been brought forward.

Pulisic missed the 3-0 win over Burnley last weekend after tearing his abductor muscle, but he could now be back for the start of February.

The 21-year-old is set to miss games against Newcastle and Arsenal in the league, with him also sitting out the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Hull City.

Chelsea’s clash against Leicester on the 1st February could be a target for Pulisic’s return, although that may be still come too soon for the American.

If the winger does miss the trip to the King Power Stadium, he will almost certainly be back in contention when the Blues face Manchester United after the winter break midway through next month.
