Chelsea’s players have been given their ratings for FIFA 21 with the club’s newest signings getting adjustments to their stats for the newest edition of the game.
Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have all been given 85 ratings, among the best in the Blues’ squad. Mason Mount has had an upgrade of 5, moving up to 75 in FIFA 20 to 80 in this year’s game.
However, Kepa Arrizabalaga has seen his rating dropped, after a horrendous run of form, with his number dropping from 84 to 82, but he is still ahead of the club’s new number one Edouard Mendy, who has been rated at just 79.
Another oddity in the ratings in FIFA 21 is that £50m signing Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso are both rated at 81, demonstrating you can’t rely on the developers at EA Sports to make accurate judgements on certain players.
There will probably be no dispute over Chelsea’s highest-rated player. N’Golo Kante has been given a rating of 88.
