Chelsea are set to make a shock move to Watford star Richarlison.
The Brazilian has had a sensational start to his Premier League career with the Hornets, scoring five goals and producing five assists in just over 20 games.
Richarlison completed a £11.2 million move from Brazilian side Fluminense during the summer, and his performance have earned him plenty of admirers.
Chelsea’s Antonio Conte is one of a number of managers who are reportedly interested in the Brazil U20 international, and the Italian is expected to make a move for the Watford star in the near future – however not before the end of the month.
According to Goal, the Premier League champions have already held talks with the winger’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci about a potential deal this summer.
Bertolucci has helped the Blues with several transfers involving Brazilian players in the past, including Willian, Oscar and David Luiz, and could be a key player in helping barter for Watford’s man of the moment.
Chelsea however are likely to face competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal for the 20-year-old whose contract at Vicarage Road expires in 2022.
