And should be make the switch to South West London, Tuttosport claim Sarri will make Gonzalo Higuain his first signing.

The Argentine controversially moved to rivals Juventus at the end of that season, however it is thought he will now be allowed to leave the Serie A champions this summer.

Juve boss Max Allegri will permit Higuain to leave the club for the right fee in order to fund moves for Antoine Griezmann and Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata, who spent two seasons with The Old Lady between 2014/16.

Morata moved to Chelsea last summer as a club record signing, but has struggled to adapt to English football, managing just 11 top flight goals all season.
