According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have a long shopping list to look forward to. The Blues who might just lose all chances to win a trophy this season, seem to be set for an important makeover. With money not being an issue, Mourinho can finally complete his dream team. Since returning to Stamford Bridge he was always keen on making a few transfers. He managed to land Matic but failed to fill the striker position which has been an issue ever since Drogba left.

It appears that the end of the season will also mean the end of the road for several of Chelsea’s older players. Cole, Eto’o, Demba Ba, Torres are the most likely to leave. Lampard and Terry who were key players during the past few months might just make the cut. Apparently they will be offered a new one year deal each.

It appears that Diego Costa is Chelsea’s main target. Hopefully for the Blues, the Brazilian born Spanish international will agree to come to London, as the Stamford Bridge team seems desperate for a top striker. Luke Shaw is also on top of the shopping list. Even if Azpilicueta has done a great job throughout the season despite being played out of position, Southampton’s player seems to be Cole’s natural successor.

As a second striker Chelsea might not have to sign anyone new as Lukaku could always return from his Everton loan but stories this week seem to suggest the Belgian hit-man is going everywhere but Chelsea.
