Chelsea have registered their interest in MK Dons’ in-form midfielder Dele Alli, who is touted by many experts to be the next ‘Steven Gerrard’ of England, according to a report in the Express.

The Blues have begun their transfer activity for the summer window, and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has reportedly been signed by the club for a little over £30 million and this deal is due to be confirmed once Atletico’s season has been concluded and the signing will be announced after the FIFA World Cup.

Alli is expected to make it big on the international stage, and MK Dons are preparing themselves to sell the attack-minded player for big money. The League 1 club has produced many great talents in the past, and could do with more funds in the coffers. Alli could be Mourinho’s first youth signing this summer, but the manager will face competition from teams like Liverpool and Arsenal to sign the player.
