2023/24 – 8 points after seven games – 11th in the league
This time last season under Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea had a poor start to the year amassing just eight points in their opening seven matches.
They had two wins, two draws and three losses and had only scored seven goals after seven games which is nine less than Enzo Maresca’s side has.
Chelsea’s start this year is a vast improvement from last season.
