Chelsea take on Manchester City in what is certain to be the blockbuster game of the season. The Blues won the league with ease last season, managing a eight-point gap over second placed Manchester City. However, with most of their title rivals strengthening, Mourinho’s men might find the league a little less easy this time around. City have especially spent big, and look to bolster more so with the likes of De Bruyne and Otamendi.

Chelsea will go into the game knowing they cannot afford to drop more points. Although it isn’t vital at this stage of the season, it will serve as a big confidence blow if there is a big gap between themselves and City.

With Courtois suspended, Chelsea will start the game with new signing Asmir Begovic in goal. In front of him looks to be an unchanged defence. The midfield is likely to remain unchanged, with Fabregas and Matic proving to be the best CM duo in the league. As for Diego Costa, question marks still remain over his fitness – but the Spaniard should start the game.

It will come as a hard game to Chelsea, but Mourinho often shows his true colours in the big games and generally outwits the bigger sides.
