Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior says he could decide “on the morning” of the game whether the likes of Cole Palmer, captain Reece James and Malo Gusto will play Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

All three players missed the 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic at the weekend with “minor” knocks, and Rosenior is keeping his cards close to his chest as to whether any of them will feature on Wednesday night.

After a rather straightforward start to his tenure, the difficulty level will ratchet up for the new man in the dugout when the Blues take on the league leaders.
