GK – Robert Sanchez – the 27-year-old remains the club’s number one despite constant rumours that the Blues are seeking a new keeper.
RB – Malo Gusto – captain Reece James picked up a knock in the warm-up against Palmeiras so he is unlikely to be risked from the start on Tuesday.
CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – Levi Colwill is suspended after picking up a booking in the quarter-final. With Benoit Badiashile injured, the only other recognised centre-half is Tosin.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – the centre-back was one of Chelsea’s best performers versus Palmeiras so he should keep his place.
LB – Marc Cucurella – the defender has been as consistent as ever during his time in the United States.
