Robert Sanchez And Estevao To Start; Cole Palmer Out; Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Brighton

Chelsea squeaked through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening, having made wholesale changes to the eleven.

Head coach Enzo Maresca is likely to revert to the core of players who have started most Premier League games this season when the Blues take on Brighton.

Read below as we share our Chelsea predicted lineup for the match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – after Filip Jorgensen’s woeful display against Lincoln, the Spaniard is expected to be immediately recalled following his one-match suspension.

RB – Reece James – the captain has found some form, which should enable him to keep his place ahead of Malo Gusto.

CB – Wesley Fofana – Trevoh Chalobah has had a bad 10 days, so the Frenchman could keep his place ahead of his fellow centre-back.

CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – the 28-year-old is able to progress the ball out from the back, which the Blues will need against Brighton.

LB – Marc Cucurella – the left-back is extremely consistent, and Maresca has begun to rely on him.
