Chelsea will be keen to make it 3 wins out of 4 when they face Brentford on Saturday evening.
It’s always tough to regain momentum after an international break and injuries will make things even more difficult for the Blues.
However, head coach Enzo Maresca will still be confident that his team has what it takes to secure the three points at the Gtech Community Stadium. Read below as we share our Chelsea predicted lineup for the match this weekend.
Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – the keeper was not called up by Spain so he should be well prepared for this fixture.
RB – Malo Gusto – Reece James started for England against Serbia on Tuesday and it’s unlikely Maresca will ask his injury-prone captain to play two games inside 4 days. Gusto should get the nod.
CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – the 27-year-old will be keen to carry on with his recent form.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – the centre-back has been one of the Blues’ standout performers in the opening weeks of the season.
LB – Marc Cucurella – the left-back’s consistency has earned him plenty of admirers over the past 12 months.
