Midfield
CM – Moises Caicedo – the midfielder will probably need to sit out a game at some point. This fixture will be his 3rd in 7 days but he is too important to leave out at the moment.
CM – Enzo Fernandez – the Argentinian international was signed to make an impact in big matches, and fans will be hoping he can get on the scoresheet in Germany.
AM – Cole Palmer – the 23-year-old transformed the game after coming on in the second half on Saturday. While he isn’t 100% fit, Maresca will be keen to get at least 60 minutes out of him against Bayern.
Forwards
RW – Pedro Neto – Estevao has been recovering from an illness, so even if he does return to the matchday squad, the Brazilian may only be fit enough for the bench. Neto is, therefore, expected to keep his place.
CF – Joao Pedro – fatigue meant that the forward looked decidedly below his best at the Gtech Community Stadium. With very few other options, though, Pedro is likely to start at the Allianz Arena.
LW – Alejandro Garnacho – Jamie Gittens flattered to deceive on Saturday so this could be a chance for Maresca to introduce Garnacho from the start.
