Cole Palmer And Alejandro Garnacho To Start; Jamie Gittens Out: Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Bayern Munich

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca says his team dropped two points against Brentford at the weekend.

However, the performance left a lot to be desired and they will need to play better if they are to get anything from their first Champions League fixture versus Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions are in confident mood, having scored 5 against Hamburg on Sunday. Read below as we share our Chelsea predicted lineup for the match at the Allianz Arena.

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – the Spaniard could be tested on a regular basis on Wednesday so he needs to be at the top of his game.

RB – Reece James – the captain played 45 minutes against Brentford so there shouldn’t be any issue with starting him in Germany.

CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – the defender will be looking to win the aerial battle against Harry Kane.

CB – Trevoh Chalobah – the 26-year-old has been one of the Blues’ best performers this season, and Maresca will need him to be at his best to keep Bayern’s lively attack quiet.

LB – Marc Cucurella – like James, the Spaniard was rested versus Brentford before Maresca was forced into sending him on after the break. Nonetheless, he should be fit to face Bayern.
