Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – 6/10 – had next to nothing to do as Wolves didn’t pose any kind of threat.
RB – Malo Gusto – 7/10 – headed the ball in from close range to score the opener. He was also full of running down the right flank, putting in several crosses into the box.
CB – Wesley Fofana – 7/10 – his passing range means that the Blues can play out from the back without concerns of being caught out on the ball.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10 – bar one headed clearance at 1-0 to prevent Jorgen Strand Larsen from getting the ball, it was a quiet evening for the centre-half.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 6/10 – coped well with Jackson Tchatchoua, but his poor header nearly led to Wolves scoring near the end of the game. Marshall Munetsi, however, couldn’t make the most of the opportunity.
