Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – 7/10 – made several good saves, including an excellent stop from Beto midway through the second half. His handling is, however, still an issue.

RB – Moises Caicedo – 7/10 – the Ecuadorian put in a shift after starting as an inverted fullback. He did, though, look more comfortable back in midfield after Reece James’s introduction.

CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 8/10 – the 26-year-old was Chelsea’s best defender, and he helped create the goal by winning the ball back from Beto high up the pitch.

CB – Levi Colwill – 5/10 – the centre-back really struggles when he comes up against physical strikers. He did not like his battle with Beto.

LB – Marc Cucurella – 7/10 – the defender could probably have done better with his shot in the first half but it was another solid display.
