Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – 7/10 – the Spaniard made one save of note from Mohammed Kudus. He was also commanding when coming for crosses.

RB – Malo Gusto – 7/10 – barring one poor pass that led to a corner, the Frenchman had a good game. Created one of Chelsea’s best chances with a cross to Joao Pedro, who forced Spurs keeper Guglielmo Vicario into a save.

CB – Wesley Fofana – 7/10 – with Tottenham not posing a threat, it was an easy game for the centre-back. He was impressive with his passing out from the back.

CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10 – the defender wasn’t tested, but he did his job, winning his fair share of aerial duels, particularly in the first half.

LB – Marc Cucurella – 8/10 – neither Kudus nor Pedro Porro got much change out of the Spanish international. A terrier-like performance.
