Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – 9/10 – made some really good saves, and the long ball for Pedro’s assist was pinpoint accurate. Outstanding.
RB – Malo Gusto – 3/10 – arguably at fault for both Newcastle goals, and he was pulled from pillar to post by Anthony Gordon.
CB – Wesley Fofana – 3/10 – at fault for both goals as well. Gave away possession for the first and failed to mark Woltemade for the second.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 5/10 – was not at the scene of the crime for either of Newcastle’s goals but his lazy shoulder barge on Gordon could have led to a penalty on another day.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 4/10 – simply not at the races in the first half but improved after the break.
