Midfield

CM – Moises Caicedo – 6/10 – the midfielder did his job, and he blocked a goal-bound shot from Timothy Castagne.

CM – Enzo Fernandez – 7/10 – it was very much a game of two halves from the Argentinian international. For 48 minutes, he was pretty terrible. He then gets an assist for the opener before slotting away the penalty after the interval.

AM – Joao Pedro – 8/10 – arguably the best signing this summer for the Blues. It is now 5 goals in 6 appearances since joining the club.

Forwards

RW – Estevao – 8/10 – a very lively performance from the Brazilian. There is still things he needs to learn which is understandable at his age, but he is prepared to try things and they usually come off.

ST – Liam Delap – 5/10 – pulled up with a hamstring injury just 15 minutes into the match. It didn’t look good and he could be out for a while.

LW – Pedro Neto – 5/10 – the Portuguese international always looks decent on the eye but he simply doesn’t create enough chances.

Substitutes

Tyrique George – 5/10 – struggled after being used as a false nine. It could potentially be his last game for the club.

Jamie Gittens – 5/10 – had one shot that forced a save but that was it.

Reece James – N/A – replaced Neto for the final 10 minutes and had a few touches of the ball.

Andrey Santos – N/A – booked after coming on for George.
