Chelsea rode their luck a bit with some favourable refereeing decisions, but the 2-0 victory against Fulham ensures the Blues head into the international break on a high.
Yet another goal from Joao Pedro and an Enzo Fernandez penalty secured the three points for Enzo Maresca’s side.
Read below as we give our Chelsea player ratings for the win at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – 6/10 – had a good game with his distribution, but he would have been relieved that Josh King’s goal was disallowed.
RB – Malo Gusto – 6/10 – picked ahead of Reece James. The Frenchman started the game shakily but he improved as the match went on. Made one very important challenge to deny Fulham the chance to score.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 6/10 – the centre-back rode his luck. He got too tight with Rodrigo Muniz, and he was lucky that VAR gave a foul for standing on his foot. He did well other than that, though.
CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – 7/10 – the 27-year-old was dominant in the air but his lack of pace could be exposed by better teams.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 8/10 – the Spaniard made some excellent tackles and set up a chance for Liam Delap early on. Could not ask for more.
