Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – 8/10 – made several good saves to stop Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha and Desire Doue whilst also helping to set up attacks with some great passing.

RB – Malo Gusto – 9/10 – created the opening goal for Cole Palmer and kept Khvicha Kvaratskhelia quiet, which is no mean feat.

CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10 – bar one shot, Dembele found it difficult to get involved, and you have to give credit to the centre-back for that.

CB – Levi Colwill – 7/10 – the defender’s pass set up Palmer for the second goal, and he didn’t let anyone down defensively either.

LB – Marc Cucurella – 7/10 – the Spaniard blocked a pass early on, which would have led to a goal if it had found its intended recipient. His running battle with Joao Neves in the second half also led to the PSG midfielder being sent off.
