Chelsea Player Ratings Vs Palmeiras: Two Players Get 8/10 But Two Others Get 5

Chelsea secured their passage through to the Club World Cup semi-final with a battling performance against Palmeiras on Friday night.

The Blues were the better side in the first half, with an expert touch and finish from Cole Palmer giving Enzo Maresca’s men a deserved lead.

However, Palmeiras’ players must have got a rocket from their manager, Abel Ferreira, at half-time as they put in a much-improved performance after the break.

Stamford Bridge-bound Estevao Willian got an equaliser with an outstanding finish from a tight angle, but the Brazilian side’s good work was undone when Agustin Giay diverted Malo Gusto’s cross into the back of his own net to hand Maresca’s team the win.
