Chelsea managed to avoid an upset in the Carabao Cup against Cardiff City on Tuesday night.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca changed his entire eleven from the win over Everton and it led to a disjointed first-half display.

After making substitutions, Maresca’s team gradually gained a foothold, and while a David Turnbull goal got Cardiff back level at one stage, the away side eventually secured their passage to the semi-final with a 3-1 win.
