GK – Robert Sanchez – 7/10 – a good performance from the Spaniard, who cleared his lines when needed.
RB – Malo Gusto – 5/10 – not one of his best outings. Wasted a few opportunities going forward before getting booked. Subbed at half-time after picking up a knock.
CB – Wesley Fofana – 7/10 – the 24-year-old is beginning to show the sort of form that led to the club paying so much money for him. He needs to stay fit, though.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 8/10 – he got the better of Robert Lewandowski, with the Polish legend unable to make an impact on proceedings.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 9/10 – played an important role for the opener, cutting the ball across the box before the own goal. However, it was his outstanding defensive work to keep Lamine Yamal quiet that caught the eye.
