Chelsea suffered a setback in their attempts to secure a top 8 berth in the Champions League with a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta on Tuesday night.

Joao Pedro had given the Blues a first-half lead. The goal had originally been ruled out for offside before VAR overturned the decision.

Atalanta got stronger as the match went on, though, and goals from Gianluca Scamacca and Charles De Ketelaere sealed victory for the home side.
