Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Robert Sanchez – 3/10 – looked very nervous on his first start since Rosenior’s appointment. At fault for the first two goals, but he made an excellent save to stop Mikel Merino from scoring Arsenal’s fourth.
RB – Josh Acheampong – 4/10 – he didn’t look particularly sharp. Got caught ball watching a couple of times, and his forays forward didn’t lead to very much.
CB – Wesley Fofana – 4/10 – didn’t cover himself in glory after being sold by Zubimendi’s dummy before Arsenal’s third.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – 5/10 – Gyokeres couldn’t get any change out of him, especially in the air, but the centre-back’s passing wasn’t particularly great.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 5/10 – kept Bukayo Saka honest until he picked up a yellow for a poor challenge on Arsenal’s No.7. He struggled from then on.
