Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are the three “big names in England” pursuing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The 26-year-old is expected to be in demand this summer after a good first season in Italy for the Nerazzurri, with a switch to the Premier League a distinct possibility.
Onana is being looked at by the Blues as a potential replacement for Edouard Mendy. The Senegalese international has reportedly been told that he can leave Stamford Bridge after turning down a new contract.
United and Spurs are, however, also considering Onana. Erik ten Hag worked with the Cameroon international during his time at Ajax, while Hugo Lloris is coming to the end of his career.
Out of the three teams, Chelsea would probably be the most likely destination, especially as they have the most need for a new number one. The Blues may, though, look at other options.
