Porto have made left-back Alex Telles available for transfer during the January transfer window, according to A Bola. The Brazilian, who is reportedly a target for Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, will be sold this month for the right price.

The 27-year-old’s contract expires in eighteen months time but the defender has repeatedly rejected Porto’s attempts to extend his stay at the Estadio do Dragao.

The Portuguese club have let some key players run down their contracts in the past and they are said to be determined for that not to happen with Telles.

Chelsea are almost certainly in the market for a left-back. Manager Frank Lampard has played captain Cesar Azpilicueta out of position rather than use the likes of Emerson and Marcos Alonso in recent weeks.

With Telles also likely to be available for a modest price, the Blues could well be tempted to make a bid before the window closes at the end of this month.
