Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia could make his debut against Bournemouth later this month, according to Football.London.
The Belgian international was signed from Southampton for £58m nearly 3 weeks ago but he has yet to make his first appearance for the Blues. He had a disrupted pre-season, meaning he needed time to get back to match fitness. However, he has taken part in full training in recent days, and there is hope that he could be available for the trip to the Vitality Stadium on September 17th. Fans on X are excited to see the teenager in action for the first time:

Lavia could form a formidable midfield trio
Many are hoping that manager Mauricio Pochettino will pick the teenager alongside Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in a midfield three.
The trio have cost the Blues a staggering £173m in total so it is hoped they can strike up a partnership and perform to the level required.
Chelsea do have plenty of options to choose from in midfield
While Lavia will be hoping to get regular game time following his move from the south coast, there is a good deal of competition for places in the middle of the park.
In addition to Caicedo and Fernandez, Conor Gallagher, Cole Palmer and Lesley Ugochukwu will also be competing for starts, along with Carney Chukwuemeka when he returns to fitness after his knee injury.
