Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Filip Jorgensen – 7/10 – Maresca has already said that Robert Sanchez will be in goal to face Tottenham but the Dane was impressive, making one excellent save from Matheus Fernandes in the second half.
RB – Malo Gusto – 7/10 – the Frenchman did have some sloppy moments but he did get an assist for Chelsea’s fifth goal.
CB – Axel Disasi – 7/10 – a bit nervy with his passing but the centre-back scored the crucial opener from a corner with a header from close range.
CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – 5/10 – didn’t cover himself in glory for Southampton’s goal, losing Joe Aribo, but he did hit the woodwork twice at the other end.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 6/10 – other than having his hair pulled by Jack Stephens, he didn’t really have much involvement in the match.
