Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Robert Sanchez – 5/10 – fans were left scratching their heads as Maresca decided to pick the Spaniard ahead of Filip Jorgensen for a league game. He didn’t inspire confidence as he flapped at the cross, which could easily have led to an own goal from Tosin.

RB – Wesley Fofana – 6/10 – another strange decision from the manager, starting a centre-back on the right-hand side when he has just come back from 3 months out with a hamstring injury. Fofana did pretty well, considering the circumstances.

CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – 5/10 – Sanchez was probably more to blame for the defender’s header coming back of his own bar but he should have dealt with the situation better.

CB – Levi Colwill – 8/10 – did superbly well to prevent Jamie Vardy from scoring after Tosin’s header rebounded off the bar into a dangerous area.

LB – Marc Cucurella – 9/10 – the left-back was excellent both defensively and in the attacking third of the pitch. His winning goal was perfectly executed.
