Gallas Names The Chelsea Star Who Has The “Same Ability” As Ronaldo, Neymar And Mbappe

Ex-Chelsea defender William Gallas believes Mykhailo Mudryk has the potential to become a “top, top player” if he can learn to harness his abilities.

The Ukrainian international has an outstanding turn of speed and Gallas told the Gambling Zone that it is the “same ability” that the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe possess:

“I think he has all of the attributes to become a top, top player. We can all see that he has the ingredients, we are just waiting to see his real quality. He makes things look really easy.”

“The way that he can accelerate past players, he makes his opponent look slow. One player that was a little bit similar was Cristiano Ronaldo. When Cristiano was younger and first came to the Premier League, he showed that he had all of the technical ability and the pace. He showed incredible skill with his stepovers. Everything he did on the pitch was fast.”

“Mudryk has some similar movements. I think when he can put everything together, it will be very difficult to stop Mudryk. He has the same ability as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe when it comes to his ground speed and acceleration.”

Application is the key for Mudryk

As Gallas mentions, the 22-year-old has the raw materials to be one of the best forwards in the world. It’s the reason why Chelsea shelled out £87m on the player.

Unlocking that potential is something that may take some time, but manager Mauricio Pochettino is clearly working hard to get the best out of Mudryk, with the one-on-one work he is doing with the Ukrainian on the training pitch.

He could be fit for Chelsea’s game against Burnley this weekend

After scoring his first goal for the club on Monday evening at Craven Cottage, Mudryk would have been disappointed to go off at halftime with a thigh injury.

However, he was pictured in training ahead of the trip to Burnley so he could feature at Turf Moor this Saturday.
