£115m Chelsea Star Told He Can Become The “Best In The World” If He Continues His Excellent Form Under Maresca

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has been told that he can become the “very best in the world” if he continues his current development.

The Blues are in a strong position after their start in the Premier League, as they have won two games and drawn two, remaining unbeaten under manager Enzo Maresca as they look to improve upon last season’s fourth-place finish.

Maresca will have his attention on the Champions League, as his side faces a game against Bayern Munich to open their competition on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena. It will be a tough challenge, as the Blues will have to defend against the likes of Harry Kane and Michael Olise in Vincent Kompany’s attack.

Not to mention, Nicolas Jackson, who is eligible to play against his parent club in the Champions League clash. It means that the midfield battle could prove to be a vital point to focus on if Chelsea are able to secure the win.

Moises Caicedo told he can be the “best in the world”

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo was excellent for the Blues last season, making 50 appearances, with two goals and six assists. So far this season, the Ecuadorian international has made four Premier League appearances with two goals for Maresca’s side.

Former Chelsea player Geremi has been full of praise for Caicedo, suggesting that if he continues to develop at his current rate, he can be the best holding midfielder in the world. He told BestBettingSites: “He has the potential to be the very best in the world and now it’s up to him to continue to work his way to the top of his potential.

“He needs to keep that consistency he has now and then build on it year by year. That’s how he’ll become a legend at Chelsea. He’s on the right track.

“I think for now, for Moises Caicedo, we can definitely say he’s doing well. His performances are impressive. It looks like he has adjusted to playing for the club and the step up from Brighton. To qualify as the best holding midfielder, he will need to improve over the next few years, and right now it’s too soon to say he’s got to the highest level so far. He definitely has the potential – don’t get me wrong.”

Caicedo will hope to have an impact for the Blues in stopping Bayern’s tough attacking talents on Wednesday night, before he will then head to Old Trafford to face off against an underwhelming Man United side on Saturday.
