‘He Should Keep Quiet’ ‘Honestly I Feel The Same’ Fans React As Jamie O’Hara Slams Chelsea Midfielder

Sky Sports pundit Jamie O’Hara has questioned Enzo Fernandez’s position in the Chelsea starting eleven.

The Argentinian international has had an underwhelming start to the season and O’Hara claims that Romeo Lavia should be ahead of him in the team when the Belgian is fit:

“I am not having Enzo Fernandez. I am not having him. I don’t think he is good enough. They paid a lot of money for him, £100 million, they have made him the captain of the football club. I don’t think he deserves to play in midfield. Lavia is a better player.”

While many fans on X believe O’Hara’s remarks were wide of the mark, there are some who agree with the ex-Tottenham player:

Fernandez needs to find some consistency for Chelsea

The 23-year-old’s performance against Crystal Palace last weekend was definitely an improvement on what we have seen in the first few games.

However, there is a feeling that Fernandez has not yet managed to hit his stride. One good display is usually followed by a rather poor one and, if he is to win over people like O’Hara, he needs to be more consistent.

Lavia will be back after the international break

O’Hara is right to point out that Romeo Lavia has performed well when he has been on the pitch for the Blues but his fitness remains a big concern.

The 20-year-old is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring injury but it is hoped he will return to fitness for Chelsea’s next fixture against Bournemouth.
