Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho answered a lot of his critics with a top-drawer display against Wolves at the weekend.
The decision to sign the Argentinian international from Manchester United in the summer has been questioned by fans and pundits alike, but supporters on X have been quick to praise Garnacho after his two assists on Saturday:

I just hope Maresca will not benched him because of rotation, he seems to be getting his form back.

Garnacho did not have a pre-season
Some criticised his lack of end product in his first few games for the Blues, but it should be noted that he needed time to find match sharpness.
While Garnacho maintained his fitness over the summer, he had been frozen out by United and did not play a single pre-season game. He was never going to hit the ground running after moving to Stamford Bridge. We are slowly starting to see him at his best.
Consistency is the key for the Chelsea forward
Some pundits questioned whether Garnacho was much of an upgrade on Noni Madueke, following the decision to sell the latter to Arsenal. However, both players are arguably at the same stage of their development. They have flashes of brilliance combined with moments of poor execution.
If Garnacho can produce displays like the one against Wolves on a consistent basis, he will be more than worth the £40m spent to bring him in.
