Chelsea Named As One Of 3 Clubs ‘Attentive’ To La Liga Playmaker’s Situation With Summer Sale Likely

Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on signing Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan publication claims both the Blues and Juve remain “attentive” to the Bosnian international’s situation, who could be sold by Barca this summer with the La Liga club keen on cutting costs.

PSG have only recently entered the battle for Pjanic, though, with Mundo Deportivo referring to reports in France that suggest the 31-year-old is being targeted by the Ligue One side’s sporting director Leonardo.

Pjanic has been consistently linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the Spanish press over the last few months but the English media have been far more reticent about claiming he is a target for manager Thomas Tuchel.

It seems unlikely that Chelsea would be after a midfielder who appears to have gone past his peak, but we shall see if the Blues do make a move for the Bosnian in the coming weeks.
