Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are all keen on signing midfielder Marcelo Brozovic after Inter Milan decided to put the Croatian international up for sale, according to Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com).
The newspaper reports that the Nerazzurri value the 27-year-old at around €60m (£55m) but they could decide to use the player in exchange for some of their key transfer targets.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is said to be interested in signing Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri, as well as N’Golo Kante. However, it’s likely Brozovic would only be used in a bid for the Frenchman, with Emerson’s valuation being substantially lower than the Croatian.
Central midfield is not thought to be a position that the Blues are looking to strengthen. Kai Havertz is the club’s number one target, while a left-back, a centre-back and a goalkeeper are believed to be manager Frank Lampard’s other priorities.
The supposed ‘interest’ in Brozovic is likely coming from the player’s agent who could be offering his client around to prospective teams.
