Chelsea Make Shock Enquiry For 45 Cap Slovakian International As They Target THREE Players From Same Italian Club

Chelsea have “asked” about the availability of Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka, according to Il Mattino.

The Italian newspaper claims the Slovakian, who has been capped 45 times by his country, is a target for the Blues, but he is deemed “non-transferable” by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

Lobotka has been an integral player in helping the Serie A side win their first title in over thirty years, starting 31 of their 35 matches this season.

The 28-year-old is not the only Napoli player that Chelsea are pursuing either. Il Mattino claim that the London club also made an enquiry for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but they received the same reply from De Laurentiis as they did for Lobotka.

The Georgian has been in outstanding form but the newly crowned Serie A champions have every intention of keeping the winger for another season.

Chelsea’s interest in Victor Osimhen is also well-documented. It was reported earlier this week that Blues scouts were spotted watching the Nigerian international when Napoli took on Monza last Sunday.
