Reports across the internet have suggested that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is looking to add to their defence this summer in a bid to claim the Premiership title, and that Manchester City defender Micah Richards is at the top of their list.

This looks primarily to be  for longer term cover with the ageing John Terry possibly only two seasons away from retirement at the highest level.

Should Chelsea fail in their approach for the City right-back the club have also identified St. Etienne’s 18 year old, and highly rated youngster Zouma, who would cost the Stamford Bridge club an estimated £7m.
