Tottenham Hotspur saw their Gareth Bale being poached the entire window by Spanish giants Real Madrid, and the fee being talked about settled in the region of £85 million, exceeding Cristiano Ronaldo’s then record fee of £83 million move from Manchester United to Madrid. However, Spurs have made the fee count, and have brought in several top players to ensure a successful season, and finally entry into the UEFA Champions League fray.

According to ESPN, Chelsea have perhaps come out on top if we compare the entirety of their squad. Lead by one of the best coaches in the world, Mourinho has finally made his comeback to the club, and will surely fight for the title this season. With players like Willian, Samuel Eto’o, Marco van Ginkel and Andre Schurrle, Mourinho has ensured Chelsea have enough firepower to continue the barrage of goals at Stamford Bridge. Also, Juan Mata’s decision of staying will be decisive, as the Spaniard’s left footed wizardry combined with Eden Hazard’s right footed dribbling can break any defence in the league.
