Chelsea Lining Up 73M Transfer Swoop For TWO Bundesliga Stars

Chelsea have made approaches for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram and RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Dani Olmo, according to the Daily Mail.

The English tabloid claim that the two Bundesliga players could well be on the move to Stamford Bridge if deals can be agreed this month.

Thuram is out of contract at the end of the season and Gladbach are not expected to demand that high a fee for the striker, with reports suggesting he may be sold for only €15m (£13m).

The situation is slightly more complicated with Olmo. His current deal does expire in eighteen months’ time but Leipzig could hold out for as much as £60m, having rejected offers in excess of £50m in previous transfer windows.

It’s likely that the Spanish international is being considered as an alternative to Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk. The Ukrainian international is also being pursued by Arsenal and he is said to prefer a move to the Emirates as things stand.
