Chelsea legends join BBC World Cup team

Chelsea legends Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard will join the BBC’s punditry team for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

The BBC announced their full team yesterday, which includes Rio Ferdinand, Alan Shearer, Martin Keown, Jermaine Jenas, Jurgen Klinsmann, Pablo Zabaleta and England women’s Alex Scott alongside the former Chelsea pair.

Regular presenters Gary Lineker, Dan Walker and Gabby Logan complete the line-up.

The BBC’s first game in Russia this summer will be the clash between Egypt and Uruguay on June 15.
