Chelsea are interested in signing Lazio winger Raul Moro, according to La Lazio Siamo Noi. The Italian website believes the Blues are one of a number of Premier League clubs who would be keen on snapping up the teenager.
When asked about Moro’s future, the 18-year-old’s agent Junior Minguella revealed that the player does have interest from many high profile teams if he isn’t given more first-team opportunities by Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi:
“If Inzaghi or the club don’t want him, we have top clubs interested in him.”
Moro was signed from Barcelona for €6m in the summer of 2019 but he has only made one first-team appearance over the last eighteen months. Inzaghi has named him as an unused substitute on five occasions this season but the Spaniard hasn’t been given a minute of action.
With his contract expiring in 2022, it’s unlikely that Moro will sign an extension if he isn’t given more game time, so Lazio may have to offload him to make sure they get some return on the amount they invested in the winger.
