Chelsea Keeping Tabs On Benfica Forward

The 20-year-old Talisca has a Champions League winning goal to his name and not many young forwards can boast about that. He scored the decisive goal against French giants Monaco on Tuesday night, and he already has scored nine goals in just ten appearances for the Portuguese side.

He joined Benfica only in July 2014 for a paltry fee of £3.1 million but he has handsomely repaid that figure. The Brazilian has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs with his impressive start, with the Daily Star reporting that the Blues have sent scouts to watch him in action.

The report states that Talisca has an exorbitant buy-out clause of £35 million inserted into his contract. Although the young star has revealed his desire to stay with Benfica, it is understood that he would be open to a move abroad.

Chelsea still lack proper depth in their goal scoring department and would be open to a move for Talisca.
